New Client Form

1. The Photographer(s) will document the events in a candid manner and take formal portraits as necessary. The client should provide a full list of formal photographs required including names and relationship to the client.

2. Prior to or during the event, the Client may inform the photographer of subjects which they would like photographed, but the final content of the images is at the discretion of the Photographer.

3. The Client will ensure that the guests at the event do not interfere with the Photographer’s work.

4. the Photographer(s) will be under no obligation to display the images while the event is still underway.

5. The Photographer retains the copyright to the images.

5.1 Editing: All images will have have standard editing applied to them. This form of editing (standard) covers the basics, such as exposure levels, colouring & some necessary cropping.  Addition levels of editing (professional) such as: altering facial or body features, and removal or modifying of background elements that where out of the photographers control or other types of photo shop editing are not included as part of the package editing.

5.2 Under no circumstances should anyone but the photographer make any edits to the images and pass them on via social media or magazines without this being agreed first.

A charge will be applied for any extra professional editing that is required outside of the standard.

6. If the Photographer is unable to perform due to fire or other casualty, strike, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the Photographer’s illness or injury, then the Photographer shall return the deposit to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to this agreement. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that images are lost through equipment malfunction, lost in the mail or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer. In the event that the Photographer fails to perform for any other reason, the Photographer shall not be liable for any amount in excess of the Photographer’s fee. Tony Gameiro Photography has all the required Public liability and personal indemnity insurance required for the above.

6.1 The Photographer may contract another photographer to take the photographs at any time in the event of main Photographer’s illness or of scheduling conflicts. In the event of such substitution, the main Photographer warrants that the Photographer taking the photographs shall be a competent professional and of similar style.  

7. Payment -The Client’s payment to the Photographer shall be as follows:
A non-refundable deposit of 20% or £250 (which ever is greater) is due at the signing of this agreement or upon date confirmation.
The remainder of the Photographer’s fee (Package price minus deposit paid) is payable in full no later than 30 days before your wedding day.
Note: Any extras, ie, -prints and enlargements, extra parent albums should be paid for in full at time of ordering.

7.1 Amendments and date changes.  There is a £250 charge for any wedding date changes to cover loss of bookings.

7.2 Cancellations and/or amendments are chargeable under the following terms. Cancellations within 4 months, 50% – 2 months, 75% – 1 month, 80% of your purchased package. Amendments or date changes will require a further deposit in the value of your first one. No show or lack of cancellation notification will be charged at the 1 month 80% rate.

8. Proofs will be available approximately 8-12 weeks after the wedding date and will be available to view online in your own private album.  Where albums are concerned depending on various factors in the design and image selection please allow anything from 3-6 months. ( Please note that this is usually due to client taking their time to select various options and evaluate the album before print. It is not usually held up by TGP but should be noted.)

8.1 The Client should expect a minimum of 250 photos for an all day wedding coverage. Weddings usually average 400 photos sometimes more.  There is no extra charge to the client if more than the minimum amount of images are delivered.

9. The Photographer will maintain backup copies of the images in their archive for a period of 4 years at which time the client may request all original files on CD or DVD for a fee .

10. A meal will be provided by the Client where possible for the one or two photographers on the day. It is up to the couples discretion what is provided, it does not need to be anything more than a sandwich and a drink.

11. If there is a pre-wedding shoot or engagement shoot offered for free in the package, the ‘free’ refers only for the time and the work, images will be provided online for viewing on your personal website (if you have chosen to have one) or on TGP’s Blog. You may purchase these images on DVD if required for anything else or ownership.

12. Where there is a personal client website it will remain online for no longer than two years after the wedding. After which all content will be removed.

13. All images (wedding and engagement) will be backed up for 2 years by Tony Gameiro Photography, after that period if you wish to guarantee the safety of your digital images you will need to obtain personal copies.

14. No digital images should be used on any website, magazine or other form of public advertising without permission from TGP, (this is still the case even if you have purchased a full set on DVD) this is only to insure if images are either watermarked or credited to TGP.
